Also experiencing the “constant refresh” issue (on Firefox/Mac). Has anybody figured out what is causing this or how to fix it?

I’m trying to use this plugin with WordPress 2.7 and a Thesis theme. The trouble I’m having is that every time I try to ‘Activate’ the plugin, I only get a blank white page on the plugin activation and then can no longer login to the WordPress dashboard. I have to go to my FTP directory and rename the FBConnect plugin folder and then I am able to login to WordPress again. Any suggestions on how I can get this plugin to work properly with my blog. Thanks, I love the idea of this plugin!

Hi Claude,
Thanks for your comment on Scobleizer!
Facebook Connect needs evangelizers
Agree with what Hans Ripple said about Safari and Chrome having problems with the display box.
See: http://www.burntorangereport.com/upload/images/captures/Sociable.png
I have also had my Facebook user account merged with my Admin WordPress.org user account.
Wow me sorprenden chicos
Me again
I got a javascript error: “Permission denied to call method Location.toString”
from this script: http://api.connect.facebook.com/restserver.php?method=fql.query
It does not seem to cause any trouble, only Firebug noticed it. I did not test with any other browser.
Hi Javier,
Thanks for the update and for the attributions, keep up the good work.
I just posted a comment at Robert Scoble’s blog with a link to here, I think it’s going to drive you some traffic, I hope you won’t be slashdoted

Reporting a bug:
When logged in as a user, when clicking on other people in the community the profile brought up is always your own. (unless the user is a Facebook User in which case it displays the Facebook Users profile)
Although when not logged in you can view any profile you wish.(facebook and wordpress)
Steps to replicate:
click on connect with facebook.
log into facebook.
click on any profile that is not a facebook profile
note that it is your own profile displayed rather than the user you selected.
click on any profile that is a facebook profile
note that it is the profile you selected.
Software:
xp & mac osx, firefox 3
Love the plugin but yes, Chrome problems after the user logs in and theme distortion on the user profile page.
On my site (http://conversations.purecaptures.com) the pages start to constantly refresh after I log into the site using facebook. I tried logging in with my wife’s fb account and it did the same thing. I noticed that didn’t happen when I logged into your blog though, so apparently something on my end isn’t playing well with the browser. This wasn’t happening earlier, but I didn’t get a chance to test 0.9.5 before loading 0.9.6 so I’m not sure when it started.
Javier, I just wanted to let you know that now the friend invite button in Google Chrome is displayed to the right of your website border.
Safari – same problem as Google Chrome
Firefox – okay
IE7 – okay
Keep up the great work!
