The theme I am using causes the Connect button to not show up. I did add the xmlns:fb line to the header. When I add to the footer.php it causes the footer content to not show up, but still does not make the connect button appear.
I would love to see the next version publish to the fb newsfeed when someone joins, not just when they make a comment. “Nick just joined the sociable.es community” or something customizable.
I would like to see the plugin render a page that shows all user comments, maybe 20 at a time, paginated, similar to BT-Active Discussions plugin, and similar to the list of comments in the FacebookConnector plugin’s user profile view.
Ok, “Enable comment auto-approval” does not seem to work, so turn it of, it ask if you want to publish, then it sends it to your newsfeed. If you have this problem, try this.
I had this plugin working perfectly a couple of weeks ago on a development site with version 1.0. Then I moved it to the production site and it does everything but post to my newsfeed like it did before. I have upgraded to 1.2.1. and still have the problem.
Do I need to manualy enter the Template Bundle ID in Facebook’s developer app? I don’t remember having to do this when I got it working in the past. In step 7, “Create a new template for comments” and I doing this in the WP admin, in Facebook, or in both?
