Help to maintain the plugin:

Pingback: 218. Implemented Facebook Connect!
Looks like my problem is in Safari only. But it works properly on Sociable!
Plugin works great, but it won’t post to my facebook wall. Am I missing something obvious?

Good work on the plugin, however there can be some improvements.
I’ve modified some of the code so that it works better in WordPress. Here are some suggestions:
- check session when trying to access ‘invite friends’ page. I’ve coded in a check to see if the user is logged into facebook.
- use with size=”square’ rather than thumb. Square returns a 50px by 50px image. Much better in WP.
awesome plugin!!!!

Never mind. I looked further back and #153 by Rodolfo Bournigal recommended
disabling the Facebook Connect Via SSL to fix the security issue with IE which is exactly what I did and it appears fixed. Just wish I could have all of those wasted hours back where I was fruitlessly searching for a clue in the code. Live and learn.
I’m at my wits end. IE keeps throwing certificate errors no matter what I do. I put the additional FB xmlns code into my header and nothing changed. I’m not a programmer or a coder. I just want it to work.
Can’t get it to work at http://www.tampablab.com — The widget is operational but instead of showing the Facebook Connect button or any reference to facebook, it’s simply going through registered users with the blog.
I feel like either I did something wrong at the initial setup on Facebook on the developer control panel (which has changed since the video was made) though I’ve done everything that is included in the video.
Thank You!!
Can someone check my blog to make sure I’ve set this up correctly?
I’ve done all the configuring and a sidebar appears that you an login and post comments via facebook.
How do I make it so instead of a sidebar there’s just a button near comments that says:
Facebook connect.
People click that and can leave a comment logging in using facebook that will pull down their profiles thumbnail.
Kind of what Kotaku does:

Anyway thanks for making this application, the Readme could be a bit more detailed in setting this up.
I’ve installed the plugin but I’m having problems logging out of Facebook Connect. When the user logs out of WordPress, s/he should also be logged out from FC but it doesn’t work. Is there a fix?
