  18. Javier you are a champion God. This is unbelievable work. Past versions were good but there were always small problems(probably b/c the technology hadn’t quite developed) which prevented me from using your plugin. I knew you would pull through eventually. This beta 2.52 runs lightening fast, zero errors and it looks really pretty. How on earth did you make this happen with such finesse? It has every feature that I could have ever wanted and more. I was certain this thing was going to slow my page load time down or conflict with cufon replacement but nope….not a single problem. You have helped me out so much over the past year, unknowingly, and i have done nothing in return. This is what i’m going to do for you. I currently own 200 high traffic domains Javier and because I’m so in love with this plugin, i’m going to pump this plugin hardcore all over cyberspace. It speaks for itself and everyone will want it when they see it. I will just give massive exposure. 1550 Fans only??????? We need to do something about that. Let’s shoot for 150,000 . As soon as I write up an article about you and get your plugin working on all my domains, I think you may see a dramatic change in your popularity. Dude, I get 48 million hits a day combined and I’m running on 4 dedicated Rochen servers so yeah, your plugin will seem ultra fast on my sites. Thanks so much my man. You are the man!!!!! You will be hearing from me soon.

I wanted users to login ONLY with the facebook sociable app. So I wiped out my wp-login.php file and put in only the facebook sociable stuff in there. It works. Awesome. With a catch.

Once you click facebook connect, pop up comes up, you login, then it takes you back to that wp-login page. So I created a link that says after you click facebook connect and login, then click HERE to go to my site, which essentially is a link to the main site.

So how can I get this to auto forward after logging in? I tried leaving the wp-login intact and adding the fb connect to it, but that didn’t auto forward either, but caused confusion because there was a login page below the fb connect icon.

  36. Where do we get the Facebook Api ? I don’t want to use it for me but for a blog I run for my daughter… Thanks

  37. Harold Read says:

I have the same question as Teri. Do you have an install service?

I tried setting up the FB connect on my WP Blog. It seemed to install fine on the blog. But where I an having problems is in Facebook when I try to authenticate the app. I get this error: “Validation failed. Base Domain: cumberlandhigh.com/ is not a valid domain.” So, when I try to use FB Connect to login on my domain I get this error page: (http://www.facebook.com/developers/login_error.php?app_id=355300271977&connect=1&type=connect), which says: “Configuration errors: To fix this error, please set your Connect URL in the application settings editor. Once it has been set, users will be redirected to that URL instead of this page after logging in.”

I have tried every combination I can think of for the connect URL, but always get the same errors.

  38. Teri Eddy says:

Are you available for hire to install this on a personal blog? I’ve tried with no success.
